Whilst the engine is playful and bound to put a smile on the face of the driver, the factory exhaust system is muted and dilutes the driving experience.Cobra Sport has added attitude to the little Abarth, by replacing the rear section with the innovative axle back Venom system that removes the rear silencer, the little Abarth is allowed to sing as it should from factory whilst remaining MOT emissions compliant and benefits from a weight saving of over 8.4kg.Delivering a bold increase in sound of +11.2dB at idle and an impressive +9.3dB at 4000 revs, the Cobra Sport system produces audible emotional every time you step on the throttle, giving Turin's scorpion the Cobra Sport venomous bite.The styling of the Abarth's pocket rocket has been enhanced, with a choice of 4” (101.6mm) stainless-steel, ceramic black and carbon fibre tailpipes.Like all Cobra Sport exhausts, this Abarth 500 performance exhaust is TIG-welded from high-quality T304 stainless steel and the mandrel-bent pipework has been developed in 3in (76.2mm) pipework, allowing for a smoother rate of gas flow for improved power delivery and a noticeably enhanced exhaust tone.
